Things to do when you become webmaser
-
Become a network contact with IS&T. This will put you on the IS&T mailing lists, allow you to create static IP's and also manage our network equipment. [1]
-
Get access to the website from the previous webmaster. You will need to get on the mailing list tx-acl.
-
Get on the txi-web mailing list. It is the one used for people having web troubles.
-
Read the info IS&T has online. There is lots of useful stuff. [2]
-
Get access to Corp Board's website at [3] (so that you can help edit it). To do that make an infinite connection account and then send an email to [email protected] asking for access. Then you should be able to edit it with the button at the bottom of the page.
