Every once in a while, legends are made. These are the stories behind them!
Once upon a time, in the Winter of 2017, the boys really out-did themselves when getting the Non-Denominational Holiday Bush. When they picked up, they were told "It's a good thing you're buying this now, because some representatives from a small town were just in here thinking about buying this tree for their town square." Luckily we got to it first. When the boys got home with the tree, I was about to go to sleep. But Nadine Chen, a friend of the house and boarder at that time, was going around to all the rooms to wake people up because the seven people pulling the tree through the front door weren't enough. We assembled in 64 commons as the Pirates of the Caribbean theme played. It took 2 hours for 15 of us to yank the three trough the door and erect it. - Luke, May 2019
During one particular coffee night, the night was as lit as ever. The pong tables were out, the music was blasting through the 64 side, and for once, the ratio was not completely skewed towards a sausage fest. At around midnight, there was some chatter among a few of the brothers of smelling smoke, but no one paid too much attention to it. A couple of minutes later, the shrieking sound of the fire alarm filled the house. When the door to the 66 side was opened, a massive cloud of smoke spilled out. Some brothers followed the smoke, eventually pinning it down to the basement kitchen. Once they opened the oven, they had found the source - 12 completely burnt cupcakes. What a time. - Umarbek, May 2019
